Quite a few years ago, I came across an epileptic boy having a seizure right next to a plate glass window inside of a shopping mall. An epileptic seizure by itself does not necessarily require an ambulance if the seizure is or short duration and if the person is a known epileptic. (The medicalert he was wearing told us he was) the main thing was to protect him from bumping into the plate glass window. I also contacted mall security who attended. However, the medicalert informed us of "behavioural problems" and once emergency services were contacted it was all on. Once he came out of the seizure, unlike most epileptics who are tired and need to rest, he became aggressive and took off through the mall followed by security staff and emergency personnel. I dont know what happened after that but thank goodness we were prepared owing to medic alert!
