In an emergency, every second counts. When someone is unable to speak for themselves, critical medical information needs to be available immediately to first responders and healthcare professionals. This is where MedicAlert® plays an important role.

MMH reported unauthorised access to its portal over the New Year period. MedicAlert conducted a thorough review and has received assurance that no information sourced directly from MedicAlert was involved. The incident related to access through a health practice patient account, and MMH continues to investigate. Members with concerns are encouraged to contact Membership Services.

MedicAlert Foundation NZ is seeking 10,000 donors to put forward $65 each a year to support vulnerable people struggling to pay for their ‘lifesaving’ MedicAlert membership, through its Pay It Forward campaign. A donation of just $65 can support a person for 12 months, says MedicAlert’s chief executive Murray Lord.
