Creating Safer Workplaces

Be part of a nationwide movement for safety and care.

By becoming MedicAlert® Response Ready, you’ll give your team the knowledge and confidence to recognise MedicAlert® Medical IDs and respond in emergencies - making your workplace safer, more inclusive, and trusted.

The MedicAlert® Response Ready certification is more than training.

It’s a badge of care and responsibility.

Why It Matters.

Every day, thousands of New Zealanders living with health conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, and severe allergies rely on their MedicAlert® Medical ID to keep them safe.

But the ID only works if the people around them know what it means, and how torespond.

Who can be MedicAlert® Response Ready?

Any business that want to strengthen trust, safety, and inclusion. Teams that interact directly with customers or the public are a great fit for this programme. No medical background is required - just a commitment to keeping people safe.

Completing the assessment demonstrates a commitment to safeguard yours or your employees health and safety, preventing avoidable harm and shows you understand the benefits of the Service. Learn about why people make their information readily accessible, to protect their best interests.
