All MedicAlert® Products are warranted against all defects in material or workmanship for 12 months on and from the date of purchase. Ensuring product safety parts are kept closed and remain functional is the responsibility of the Member. This warranty does not affect any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

The durability of all products can be impacted by contact with the body chemistry of some people and the coarseness or unnatural nature of some environments to which a product is exposed. These matters are outside of the control of the Foundation and accordingly this warranty does not cover:

ordinary wear and tear;
tarnishing or scratching of the emblem, chain and safety parts;
damage resulting from misuse, accidental handling or loss of any kind;
metal wear and tear which reduces the visibility of custom engraving, after one year;
changing your mind following purchase; and
damage to safety parts intended to release and protect from bodily injury.
